• Quick Question

Which is quicker (keeping in mind no other mods would be installed):

    1) 1999 Firebird A4 w/ LSD and High stall (say 2800)
    torque converter.

    or

    2) 1999 Firebired M5 with LSD and 3.73 gears
Now, how badly do YOU want to see my brake lights?

Pacesetter headers, 3 inch y pipe, high flow cat, magnaflow catback, many suspension mods, intake, built a4 with 3200 torque converter, 5 angle head job, dis 4, firewires, etc etc....

The M5 will be cheaper, because the stall will run you around $500. It just depends on what you want to do with your car. A built A4 will outperform any M5, stock for stock the M5 may have a little edge over A4. The 4l60e is an awesome tranny.

3.08's vs. 3.73's? TC's only going to help getting off the line. After that the M5 is gonna walk the A4.

Put some 3.42's or 3.73's in the built A4, and then walk over the M5
