  • Clutch Problems - Tiny Leak

Hello Everyone, its been quite a while since I've posted looking for help here, my car has been working pretty well for the better part of a year now.

This past spring, I pulled my engine to put in a new rear main and a new clutch, blah blah blah.

Anyways, I got everything back together, full new clutch (stock) and a new slave cylinder and throw out bearing.

Anyways, after a few 100 miles, I started having shifting problems. I bled the clutch, and they went away. A few 100 more, and they are back again. I bleed it, they are gone again.

The only place I can find any sign of a leak at all is where the SS line from the Master Cylinder goes into the the Slave fitting on the outside of the bell housing. It appears to be glossy as if a small amount of fluid is seeping out, which would mean air is going in.

I'm pretty sure the fitting itself is good, as its new. Can you get just a new SS clutch line without buying the new master cylinder? I'd like to try replacing that, with a new end, hoping maybe to fix the leak.

    Any Suggestions?
