  • torqu converter question

    i want to get a torque converter, but i need to know what kind works well, whats a good stall, and most importantly where to get one. any help would be great thanx.

    This is a difficult question to answer...

    For one thing, /why/ do you want a different torque converter? Perhaps http://www.converter.cc/technical_discussion.htm will help you figure out what you need.

    I recommend speaking to Yank and Precision Industries about your intended use, then deciding based upon that. If you can't figure out what you want, you might as well stick with stock - its not a terrible converter really... [img]smile.gif[/img]

      I agree with Card, I like my stock converter very much! A 1.8 60' with a little nitrous [img]smile.gif[/img]

                so whats the deal with a stall converter and drag radials??? not a good combo or what? i'll be running streets for now and eventually upgrade to bfg's then maybe, and i mean maybe to drag radials?
                yeah scott i got it but i been real busy with scool and $hit now im on spring break just chillin getting ready to go back i'll send you another when i get back to SA
