I ordered the SLP differential cover, now the question is it asks me to do some grinding with some templates it came with has anyone done this before?? Can I get some help on doing this and also it comes with some magnet, Were does it go???

usually the magnet goes inside the cover, on the bottom... grabs all the little bits of metal that float around in there.
i've never installed the SLP cover... do you mean the AAM cover? i didn't know grinding was required; nothing like that was necessary with my TA cover. -
Which cover are you talking about? I bought a cover from SLP when I installed my diffy. It was just a modified stocker with a drain hole.Matt

Yes the AAM cover. The holes on it where the gear oil will pass though, will be cover by the housing on the differential. So the say. Is it suppost to just bolt on??? cuz it also says to to take everything in their out pinion ect. so the metal shavings wont fall on them. i'm confused.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/lucky19\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/lucky19</a>Comment
