      Yeah, sorry, forgot to mention Royal Purple. They're up there in the top tier too. But Royal Purple isn't as easy to find in auto parts stores...

        have a question, I got a '97 coupe(no Y87) with the T-5, I don't know if it has limited slip? Am also considering swithing to synthetic in diff. Could you also use the synthetic in the trans?

          speedguy--no, you do not have a limited slip. You have a 3.23 open differential.

          For any automotive fluid on a high-performance car synthetic is always better. Oil, tranny fluid, differential fluid...

            I've been running Mobil 1 for about 3 yrs now and haven't had any problems. As mentioned, I always pick up a bottle GM limited slip additive from the dealer. Also get a gasket while your there too cuz you will need to replace that.
