The conversion was very straightforward, the only problems I had when taking the old one off was trying to find the ends of the shocks (duh), taking off the e-brake cables, and taking off the end-links to the sway bar. They were so rusted and old, one bolt snapped in two and the other, the nut stripped round. Other than that, it was really easy. The conversion took about 7 hours and 5 of those hours were taking the rear end off, once it’s off it’s very simple to put back on because it’s just reverse of taking it off. The problems I had putting it back on was trying to get the rear end at the right angle to re-connect the torque arm.
It any one is thinking about doing this mod, I highly recommend it, I’m not exactly the most skilled person at doing stuff like this, but I had no real problems. As long as you research what you are doing and do it right then you’ll have nothing to worry about. By the way, I got the rear end at www.speedautomotive.com
If there any more questions just email me
