  • s-10 tc stall?

I have heard from many people that the stall of a stock s-10 is more than my stock converter. I know the transmision is the same. I was wondering if anyone knew the true stall of the s-10 torque converter?

the one that people talk aboutfinding is teh 4cyl s-series convertor to be specific. it is rated to stall to about 2200 behind the limp wristed little 4pot motor. it will stall a bit higher when strapped to a V6 motor. it is not a "hard hitting" or "tight" convertor by any stretch. it is a nice cheap mod you can do and will help a lot off the line.
