HELP!!! Centerforce DF : Wines on start up!

I have had my Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch in my 95 3.4L Camaro for 19 months and worked great. But recently it started to make noise. In January when I started the car in the morning to leave and pushed the pedal in to shift the car into gear, it would wine and it's really loud. It's a metallic wine that sounds like something that rotates, like the flywheel. It would only make noise the first couple of shifts until I got down to the end of the street, less than a 1/4mile. It has progressed to a worse condition. Now it makes noise for a few miles and at least 5-10 minutes in the morning and if the car has been sitting for a few hours during the day. The clutch has only 20,000 miles on it and my 3.4L doesn't put out enough hp to hurt a DF clutch. I drive it hard every day but I know how to shift. I don't dump it hardly ever. Could it be just a throw out bearing or just the flywheel? Has anyone had this problem before? I have somewhere it can be inspected at for free to determine what causes the noise. But before I waste time and money I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this.

It doesn't sound like a flywheel problem. If the fly was making noise, you'd have a bigger problem. I would guess it's the throwout bearing before anything else. Of course the only way you'll find out is to take the tranny off and look. :(

if I had to guess, Id say throw out bearing...
