Im looking into buying a trans go shift kit w/ the vetter server for my car (auto, 3.08) and was wondering do i have to manually shift the car after i install the kit or can i still drive it like an auto.

You can still drive it normally...if you're into that! The shift kit will help when you're racing. Put the car in first and hit the gas, when you redline, slip it second and so on.
