• PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

Attention all members, I need your help!!!

I am currently installing a POWERTRAX locker differential.

I have been on the phone with them and spoke with their tech department and thought I had all the correct parts. I told them what I had, they sent what was available.

Damn them!

My car is apart now, no guts in the rear. My shop is in the middle of installing it and ran into problems. They have been on the phone with POWERTRAX tech department and we know what is wrong.

I used to have a 2 series carrier open differential.

I upgraded to a 3 series carrier limited slip differential.

To use my POWERTRAX locker differential I MUST have a 3 series OPEN differential. I can not have a 3 series LIMITED SLIP differential.

I was all ready to test the car out this weekend due to extra cubic inches but now I am PISSED OFF!!!!!!

To my knowledge the ONLY 3 series carrier’s that are NON limited slip are V6 f bodies that are manual or Y87 cars WITHOUT limited slip differential.

I need this ASAP!!!

I will be online later.

If you can help me you can have my current 3 series limited slip differential FOR FREE! Warning, it is kinda spent though.

James, just find anybody who has upgraded to a limited slip, since they should have their stock one available. What about Shirl?
You could have mine, but it's buried in my storage room, at home. Worst comes to worst ... drop a line. But I'm 3 states away and don't want to ship that greasy piece!

James, we have the open differential from Path's 3.23 gears sitting in the garage right now. We just put her Zexel-Torsen in last week. Check your e-mail. UPS Ground from D.C. to New Jersey is only a day or two's transit time, if I were to ship it this afternoon you should get it by Friday...

Good thing you posted, we were going to throw it away this weekend.

I've got one too. The shipping will be a bit longer from AZ, but if it doesn't work out...

Stock open differential from a manual w/3.23s
