Suggested Torque Converter

Well i called Yank to find out what their reccomendation was.

I told them i was going to supercharge a v6 and that i have 3.42 gears...

They suggested the

V6- Pro Yank 3400. -$878 Shipped.(i am sure i can call around and get it cheaper)

Well i am waiting till after the charger for two reasons

a) not enuf cash right now
b) want to get the batmobiled dynoed with the charger on to find my torque numbers and make sure that this is the right converter for me.

Some advice:

Make sure that before you go out and buy a torque converter to call around and find out what works best for you. A
also make sure you don't get an LT1, or LS1 converter... they make specific converters for the v6.

Ask them why Pro Yank instead of Pro Thruster?

That is the same tc mike recommended for me. He said n/a it would stall around 2800-2900 and with the nitrous 3400. I will see what the actual stall is when i get it. There is a potential gp going for yank tc, i will probably buy mine off the gp for a better deal.
