  • A question for anyone w/ the T/O Torsen unit from SLP

When using this LSD, were you able to use the C-clips or did you have to use C-clip eliminators?
    Thanks,
    Jim

you can re-use the C-clips or get the C-clip eliminator, your choice.

I dunno whats so bad about c clips. They were easy as hell to deal with.

the c-clip eliminator is stronger than the c-clips can be on their own. you put the eliminator in when you are building a rear end to withstand a whole bunch of torque.

Good discussion on c-clip eliminators here.

Sounds like they're ok for drag, but not made to take heavy side loading as well the original c-clips do. Read up, decide how it applies, and tell us what you end up doing.

That's an easy one. I have not had any problems w/ c-clips and I will stick with them. I see no reason to complicate things by having to install c-clip eliminaters along w/ the LSD and gear swap.
              Thanks alot guys,
