    Hey guys I saw this site that has aluminum flywheel for f-bodys, My question is, is a aluminum flywheel is a good one to do?
    i know there well be a lost of torque but over all what you all think of the alumnium flywheel.

    Do you have a link, I think it was somebody from SuperSix that said they were contemplating making one but I don't know what happened with that. If there is one out there, that will fit the V6, I say go for it, it could really be benifitial. And possibly show some good numbers, esp for a moderatly modded car.

      Very good mod. You WILL notice it though, as revs drop a lot faster without all of that extra rotating mass.
      You should really read up some more about flywheels, etc., it sounds like you're not entirely sure what's goin' on. Good luck!

        This has been discussed very heavily in the past 2 months. Please do a search in the Drivetrain forum for "aluminum flywheel". You should find everything you need there...
