I have a 3.4 Ltr firebird and when i spin out i know that i leave the "one wheel wonders". I read on here that mjparme was putting 3.42 gears on his car and was wondering if i could put them on my car. I want to put a posi rear end on but i hear that it is expensive. When can i do to make it so i spin both wheels instead of just the one? I also have a friend that has the y87 package in his car and he says that his car and after testing his car out in the rain it drive alot better than mine does, i think its because of the LSD though. Can someone give me some guidance though. Please. Thanks.
Yah you need to get LSD, you really don't need the 3.42, they will help. Right now I have 3.23 and plan on getting LSD takeoffs, they only cost 100. That will probably suit your needs.

Check the "gears" and "differential" sections. Should answer any questions you have. Then when you're ready to buy, check www.tbyrne.com or www.thunderracing.com , they carry all of the stuff. In this case Thunder is really nice because they carry the differential, the gears, the Redline fluid, the GM limited slip additive, and the rear end gasket (while you're in there you should put a new gasket in).
