check ebay or the v8 forums. I got mine for like 100 shipped from somebody on a v8 forum. Usually go for 100-150 all the time.

I recall reading a post on this board a while back where someone ordered a driveshaft (maybe it was off e-bay), and it was not balanced. People responded saying he should only buy from a known supplier.

I, too, have been looking for a new 1-piece aluminum driveshaft. lmperformance has one for $400 (or some sillyness like that). The GM one is suppose to be about half that, but their parts site is not working properly. I need to call my local stealer.

Yes the v8 driveshafts are the EXACT same length and everything so it is a direct swap for all uf 4th gen fbody guys.

As for not being balanced, I asked before I bought mine if the car was in an accident and stuff. You can get it balanced though once you buy one for pretty cheap at local places. Don't buy one from GM or whatever, they charge an arm and a leg for those things. Ebay and v8 forums are your best friend!

The tech section of this site said the GM version was $212. I have not verified that yet. I looked on e-bay a while back and did not see one. When I am done with my current mods, maybe I will look into it again.

I said a while ago I searched :twak: I moved on to a different mod instead.

Thanks for looking though. Maybe I'll bid since I have the links. :D

I wouldn't bother bidding on those. With shipping prices they are pretty expensive. You can find a better deal. Especially since you aren't in dire need.
