  • Shifter 9/16 or 16mm?

    Hey,

I've got a 2002 Camaro with V6 w T-5 transmission. I would like to replace the shifter-ball with a classic white Hurst ball. I measured the shifter threads and they appear to be 9/16", but since the T-56 is 16mm...I'm wondering if the T-5 may also be that size?

    Thanks, Bob

Both the 5 and 6 speed use an M16x1.5 thread.

        Thanks Guys...

I'll eventually go with a new Hurst Billet/Plus shifter, but I really gotta get rid of the stock leather ball shift knob...
