Does anyone know where to get the 12" precision industries torque converter for my 97 3.8? I looked for it but i cant find the 12" one mentioned in the modifications encyclopedia...Is that the one i should get? Is it worth the while

Yes, you could contact precision industries and ask for a 12" precision industries torque converter.
Why do you want this converter?
I prefer YankRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Good point...I am looking for a little bit better acceleration. I have ram air and a flowmaster catback. Headers and cat should go on this summer but after that i am thinking a torque converter would be the next step. My drivetrain is bone stock and i am trying to decide on gears. I also have to drive my bird about 30 freeway miles everyday for school and work. So i am hoping this converter would work well with my application.
