Ok I have a 97 v6 5spd camaro, havent really had any problems with it, has just over 100k miles. I have just started noticing that the clutch pedal has a lot more slack in it sometimes than other times, usually it has about an inch of slack then theres that 1 time out of maybe 50 that i press the pedal down and theres like 4 inches of slack and feels like it is barely enough to shift. Does anyone know what that could be? Is that my clutch going out or just a cable problem or something?

Re: Clutch pedal help
it could be 3 things.
you might need a clutch. when was it last changed?
clutch slave cylinder.
clutch master cylinder.
does your clutch grab good? if it is your cluch then i would recomend that you replace everything that i listed above and your t.o bearing. all so you don't have to worry about it later.
