I am trying to put a 97 tranny and engine in a 98 I just found out that the tranny mounts are in different locations. Is there anyway to get this to work? It is off by 2 inches.

are you sure? I put a 97 in my 00 no problem.
I guess I did use the 97 tranny mount. the 1998+ tranny's the mounts for the TQ arm and exuasht hanger are different..... they mount the same place but GM updated the tail shaft on these trannies. the bolts for the mount are farther apartwww.turbov6camaro.com
