Rear end Changeover

I am being quoted 6.5 hours @ $85.00 to remove the open carrier; swap the 3.23's for 3.73's & install a Gov-Lok. Is that realistic?

Same labor to just swap the gears on the existing carrier - 6.5 hours for rear end re & re.

The labor rate is high, but your market is very different than mine.
The number of hours is on the high side of normal [i.e. not totally out of line to do the job carefully].

My labor to install a zexel lsd into my car was $300 [USD].
