Can I take a a4 out of a 94-95 3.4 v6 and put it into my 96 3.8 v6?
Reason is that I have had that famous 4l60e slip, wear it slips in 2nd (well on mine) but then goes away the next day. Meaning that one day if I run the car at average throttle around 0-60 at half throttle all day that it will slip secound but grab every other gear harder. Its weird. I have this 3.4 motor and automatic that I pulled from a stripped firebird and traded what was left for a race engine for my race car. It is weird because when I give it full throttle it will hook the gear until high rpm then try and slip acting like it is the vorce regualtor valve or whatever you call it, I think it is a bad band in gear 2 tho, Oh well, Can this swap be done from the small v6 to the big v6?
