about every 3rd or 4th time i need to down shift the shifter will stop just before it goes in and growl and vibrate. if i let pressure off for just a split second and than reapply it slowly it then goes right in. going from 4th to 3rd is when this happens 80% of the time with the other 20% when i go from 3rd to 2nd. i just changed fluid about a month ago and i never had any sort of issues before so i;m assuming this could be part of my prob. i'm gonna check fulid level once it cools down. i was also told it could be a synchro problem. could this be caused by low fluid?? if it is a synchro problem it's going to be expensive isn't it?? also will it last awhile if i take it easy while downshifting?

Well if it keep grinding every time you down shift you are going to destroy those gears. You can double clutch into the gears until you figure out what the problem is.
