Getting high clutch install prices.
I know it will be hard. But can i install this bad boy myself and what are ALL the parts that i need? I don't want to open her up and then not have everything that i need to do it. I have a couple good friends tha can help but we have the man power, will and beer. We just need the direction and to know if there are any special tools that we need.

Off the top of my head, it's a good idea to put in a new slave cylinder while you have it apart and the clutch should come with all the other parts you need (mine did atleast). As for tools, make sure you have a lot of extensions and maybe some swivel sockets for the top bolt(s) on the bellhousing. And a good torque wrench is a good idea, so you can put everything back together right (but not necessary).
Just a few other things, it's good to have the flywheel turned before you put on the new one, and be sure to have tranny fluid and break fluid to refill after you're done.

you are going to want to put a new slave in there, i did my t.o bearing, flywheel, and believe it or not i did my rear main seal, since it right in there and our cars are know to leak, mine wasnt' but i had 60k on the car so i did it anyways.
in all honesty a clutch really isnt that difficult to do its just really involved. buy a haynes manual and follow all the instructions. when you take bolts out put them in a labeled ziploc bag and put them with the part you took off. makes it really easy to put things back together. definitely replace the slave. its right there and you already have the tranny out so its worth it. also make sure you resurface the flywheel.
as far as tools make sure you have a lot of extensions and swivel heads. for the top bellhousing bolts i suggest a stubby wrench. the bolts are 18mm so if you get a small wrench to shove up there you can just muscle the bolts loose a lot easier then the swivel heads and extension. its hard to get the amount of tourqe you need through all the extensions. i just finished doing the same so if you need any held just post and i can help you out iwth any questions.

i had mine replaced not too long ago, they told me anytime you replace the clutch then you should replace the slave cylinder... i believe after pricing and labor it cost me about 450 bux. but it was all worth it.

you had a shop to do your slave and TOB replaced and you forgot about clutch??
most NAPA's can resurface a flywheel. make sure they dont take too much off. cuz then you run into fitment issues. resurfacing you flywheel will cost around $50 and i believe a brand new GM one will only cost you about $100-150 so thats up to you. you could probably get away with not changing out the slave since it is so new i would do it just for my own piece of mine but thats up to you.
