Im in the market now for a new/used tranny for my 96 since i broke third...now im curious on what years swap into mine...can i take a t-5 from a 3.4 and use that on mine? or am i gonna have to get it off a fbody with a 3.8?

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe pre 98 V6s had a removeable bellhousing meaning ANY transmission from 94-97 3.4 or 3.8 should work even if you have to swap the bellhousing. I would do a search to verify.Comment
