never heard that...........when my car overheated about a month ago, my dad towed/pulled it about 200 yards with his truck to the mechanics, i was in it w/the key in the "on" position where jus the radio and **** works, in neutrul, i've had no problems since

the first position that your key turns to clockwise is for towing or pushing, as it allows you to shift into gears, but does not turn on any electrical devices, your owner's manual is your friend
