Well, my old transmission is giving up the ghost quickly. And I don't blame it after 182,000 miles of excellent service. :D The third gear synchro just went, and it pops out of 2nd randomly. I figure the car deserves a new one.
I just ordered a T5 with 50K miles, as well as a LUK slave cylinder. My Spec1 clutch is in excellent condition and I can't afford to replace it now anyway, so I won't be doing the clutch.
Any pointers on getting this done smoothly?
I will be using a full vehicle lift...that's gonna be nice.
