Alright so I just have got done making a ton of purchases, Abbott Stage 3 heads, Comp cams Turbo cam, rods, studs, and of course the biggest of all my T-70 Turbo :naughty: . How long will my transmission hold up? I have a 98 V6 with Y 87, basically not will my trans hold up, about how long do I have till I need to bulk it up?

If it's a T5 it's already destoryed just LOOKING at that setup.
If you're EASY on it the 4L60E should hold up "ok" for a little while, but I would expect a performance rebuild in the very near future. To prolong the life definitely get a tranny cooler installed.
I destroyed mine with 60-70k on it with a 70 dry shot of nitrous on a 3500 stall converter.

How inlvolved is a performance rebuild, do you have any links to kits available?

4L60E should hold up pretty good for a while. I've been beating the crap out of my tranny because I have a spare one sitting around but with 80k miles on it and the turbo, its still holding up fine.
