I believe that one of my tranny mounts is broken, how hard is it to install one of those and where should i get one from. Some people tell me to use poly mounts...is that a good idea or is that a waist of money.

    Re: Tranny mount

You only have one tranny mount. When looking at the bottom of the car, you will see a crossmember that goes under the back end of the transmission. Between that crossmember and the tranny is your mount.

Installation is pretty easy; unbolt the mount from the bottom end, jack up the tranny a half inch or so, unbolt mount from tranny, and slide out the old mount. Reverse process with the new mount.

I have a poly mount and I like it a lot. It's very rigid and VERY hard to destroy. On the downside, for 700 miles or so driving your car will be like riding on a jackhammer. The vibrations are extreme before the mount breaks in. (I kinda liked it, myself though. :P )Additionally, you need to elongate a hole in the crossmember to make the poly mount fit and you should space the new mount around .5" to make the tranny rest at stock height. There are writeups to be found on this.

That all said, I think my mount was worth all the trouble and I really like it. However, the poly mount is not for everyone. Be sure you know what you're getting youself into before you start. :)
