Ok so I've started getting up the nerve to just rebuild my rearend instead of replace the WHOLE thing. Who has done this? Im pretty sure my gears are good but I need to replace all the bearings. I have the LSD 3.42 setup so any assistance would be great. Is is cheaper to fix or replace the whole thing?

Re: Rebuilding a rearend...
I replaced my spider gears and all bearings and seals . it just takes weird hard to use tools to get depth but i used my original casing and spacers. takes 2 people to get bearings out with a slide hammer and its a pain to clean all the metal dust i had becoust i ground my gears to death!!
