Tons of threads on this if you search, but there really isn't a good answer.
Everyone will come in here and tell you "get X shifter it's what I have and it's the best". The fact is all three shifters available for our cars are good quality and get the job done. There are really only two differences; pricing and handle length. The B&Ms handle can not be changed while the Hurst and PRO 5.0 have handles that can be unbolted and exchanged for a shorter version.
If you want short throws and are ok with the long handle like the stock shifter the B&M may be for you. If you want short throws and a shorter handle then go with the PRO 5.0 or the Hurst.
Changing is not much... removing the console, removing the boot, weather boot and then 4 bolts.
My choice was Hurst with Lou Shortstick, topped by Momo shift knob. Very short shifts and fun! If you google the shortstick, you'll see it's a solid round stock.
