What kind of Diff came in a stock 2000 camaro , 5SPD (bone stock , no perf. packages etc.) ???

regular POSI ?

gear ratio ?

if you check your door codes you will find that you are running an open differential and 3.08 gears. But check just to be sure, when I did I had the GU5 door code for 3.23 gears instead of the GU4 door code for 3.08 gears. And if you have drum brakes on the rear I'm almost 100% sure you have an open diffy too.

I have the GU5 code aswell and disc brakes all around so is it stil lan open >?

All 5-speed f-bodies have 3.23s

the code for LSD is G80. Its very unlikely you have it, Seems Y87 5-speeds are not too common.

4 wheel disc brakes became stand in 98. Otherwise you would be right about that being a good indication of having the Y87 package.
