I need to get my aluminum DS balanced. What kind of places do that?

Well I thought bananas came peeled...
Just kidding dude. Actually a driveshaft can go out of balance. I've seen specific shops that specialize in custom drive shafts and balancing, but if you don't have anything local you may have to ship it. I don't know how common shops like that are.

(I've never used them so I can't vouch for them. Just using them as an example of the type of shop I am talking about)

You need to find a local driveline shop. I could tell you a good locl place in Orlando. I got new bearings pressed on to my diff at one. They would also do driveshaft stuff.
I think they charged ~$22 an hour.
