I need to get my aluminum DS balanced. What kind of places do that?

Well I thought bananas came peeled...

Just kidding dude. Actually a driveshaft can go out of balance. And while at one time, mine was balanced, it's not anymore.

          Re: Balancing driveshaft

I've seen specific shops that specialize in custom drive shafts and balancing, but if you don't have anything local you may have to ship it. I don't know how common shops like that are.

          Example:http://www.thrashdriveshaft.com/repair_service.htm
(I've never used them so I can't vouch for them. Just using them as an example of the type of shop I am talking about)

You need to find a local driveline shop. I could tell you a good locl place in Orlando. I got new bearings pressed on to my diff at one. They would also do driveshaft stuff.

I think they charged ~$22 an hour.

I guess go on the v8 boards and go to a local sectin and asked there.
