Hi everybody I'm new here. I was just wondering if switching from an open differential and 3.08 gears to a lsd with 3.42 gears would make a noticeable difference and if it would hurt my fuel mileage? Thanks

I heard 3.42 are like in the middle over gas milage and performance. I myself was thinking about the 3.42 but instead went with the 3.73 and i can tell a big diffrence.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/lucky19\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/lucky19</a>

from a 3.08, yeah you'll notice a big difference
we noticed a difference just from 3.23s to 3.42s91 Mustang LX 2.3 Turbo - T5<br />-daily driver, 210hp/300ft-lbs (outdated)<br />94 Ranger Splash 2.3 Turbo - T5<br />-serious build up, shooting for 400+hp<br />95 Camaro 3.4 auto -hers<br />-she\'s workin on it

i noticed a difference from stock 3.42s to 4.10s2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!
