I noticed a HUGE difference in the launch and acceleration when I went from 3.08's to 3.42's. :burn:
As for install, I dont know. I would take it to a pro just to make sure everthing goes in correctly. Thats something that if its not done just right, it will cost lots of $$ to fix.
i understnad my speedo will be off...but how much will that affect my ODOMETER...NOT SPEEDOMETER...i dont want my car to say is has 200,000 miles when it has 150K
your odometer will increase at a rate equal to the ratio of your old gears vs. new gears
Nah, I bought them with the intention of putting them in, but my new rear already had 3.42's. If my new rear came with 3.23's or 2.73's I would have put them in, but I lucked out and didnt need to. :)
