i have a 1995 3.4. i have done alot of burn outs and i have noticed every one of them have both wheels leaving rubber. and both tires are worn exactly the same. do i have limited slip??????

Well Im not sure of the code, but it should say on your door panel. But if you are leaving 2 marks behind then cahnces are you do.

that is what i was thinking but it is a 3.4 and i did not think any of them came with it and i don.t know what the guy before me did or did not do.

Well I think the 3.4 could come with the Y87 performance package, gives it 3.42 gears, and Limited slip, also a tighter steering ratio.

I don't think the 3.4L ever came with a LSD...

but it is likely 12-15 years old its very possible someone put LSD in it.

how long are both of the burnout marks?

both wheels (driver side will stop spinning after a few seconds)will spin for a few seconds on an open differential. At least it did on my car.(2002 camaro) I've also seen the driver side wheel spin on a Turbo Buick(80 something) with an open differential.

they are both about 10 ft long. and i have done it meny more times and same each time.

well then that 3.4 is alot more powerful than my mildly modded 3.8. i've tried but i cant get more than about a foot long burnout. i cant stand in place and keep burning either.

i have line lock an i have made my car disapear before.lol nothing real special ful exaust headers, p/p heads/ cai/ rockers/cam/ thats about it.
