  • Need help quick!

ok so im changing out my transmission and i ran into a little snag. i have everything done and taken apart in about 30 minutes(im getting pretty quick at doing this thing now) and all i need to do is take off the hydraulic line to the slave. walk to the other side of the shop to get the hydraulic line tools and none of them work. i spent the next couple hours trying everything in my power to get the damn thing off. last time when i changed my clutch i just took a cut-off disk to the thing since i was replacing the slave. only problem is the slave is brand new. just put it on 2 months ago. not even 3000 miles on it yet. so im not spending anouther $80 to replace that. how do i get this damn line off. i know theres some tool out there but i dont know where to go to get one or if there are any other little tricks to it. its sitting up on the lift now and will be there til monday morning. no one down at the shop has run into this type of issue before and we all spent a couple hours trying to deal with this. i need an answer by monday morning so someone please chime in here

      get 2 flathead screwdrivers...

just pust the screwdrivers on the edges of the plastic then squeze it towards your thumbs, it pops right off I have never used a hydraulic tool.

          Its the white/yellow plastic clip...

Its inside, you just push down on it evenly form 2 sides and it unhooks. I'll see if I have any pics of mine when I did my clutch/tranny and crap.

here are pics form install university.
