Alright well i got a 1 pc steel ds and 1 of the caps r missing...can i take of the caps off of my 2 pc and put it on there?

If you can get the caps off, you're probably better off just buying a new u-joint from autozone or something. They aren't that expensive, and you'll have the self-insurance of knowing you have a new part installed.sigpic -

ya thats what i ended up doin...11 bucks and 2 hrs later i got it installed...had to use a torch to get that damn thing out
