    2 part drive shaft

    just bought a purple 95 with a 3.4 v6 auto ,anybody know the reason for a two part driveshaft ,can i swap it out for normal one with out any problems???thank for your time clint

    I would take a guess and say maybe it was cheaper, but i have no clue, plus the little swivel part in the drive shaft probably helps absorb vibration. Yes, you can swap a one piece steel drive shaft from a 93-97 or the aluminum drive shaft from the 98-02. Check out ebay they are always on there and also other fbody websites like ls1tech.com usually have people selling them.
