weird noise in reverse??

    weird noise in reverse??

    I have no idea what could have happened. . But I have been noticing this weird noise whenever Im in reverse. At first I thought it was my muffler rattling but I put it in neutral and rolled in reverse and didnt get the noise.
    I can't really explain the noise besides its not a grinding sound. it sounds like something is slipping (but it seems to work fine).
    Anyone else have any similar problems or have any ideas of whats wrong with it?
    by the way my cars an auto if that helps (I also had a shift kit installed around 5 months ago) Im just hoping I dont need a rebuild or a new trans. . .
    95 black 3.8 camaro, Intake, Pacesetters, Flowmaster 80 series, accel plugs and wires, B&M shift kit (eh could be better), hopefully a highflow cat soon. and a bunch of appearance mods.

    well I had my dad check it out, he thinks it might be the U joints. . . Im gonna jack it up now and see whats wrong.

      What do you have.... Auto or Manual?

        its an automatic, Im going to put it up on a lift this week and check the drive shaft. . Because from where the sound is coming from it sounds like its the front U-joint on the driveshaft.
