i have a 96 camaro RS Y87 with the 4.10 gears in it. I heard that if I put an upgraded torque converter in my car it the gears will be put to better use. what is a good torque converter to upgrade to for my V6? thanks.

Edge all the way. I've had mine for 3 years and love it. It's a 3000 stall with 2.4 str. Edge says you shouldn't have to get an aftermarket transmission cooler with it, but I would buy one anyway.
A converter will definitely wake your car up on low end (as if 4.10s already haven't LOL.) It will help the car get the RPMS up into the powerband much quicker. I would definitely recommend getting some drag radials with the 4.10/high stall combo. I have trouble controlling my traction with 3.42s.
