i am currently in an arguement with wes, will a s-10 differential work in our rears? i thought they were pretty much identical, and i figure they can be gotten cheaper

its a 10 bolt. but like i said i dont think the diffy is the same.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
