Re: z-28 rear end in a v6
Make sure you get the rear end from a six speed car. All six speeds came with 3.42 gears. All automatic's have 2.73 gears unless it's a WS6 or SS which came with 3.23's.www.fbodyelpaso.org A4 stock 3.42 and LSD not Y87,SLP cold air induction, whisper lid, k&n filter, flowmaster 80 series, hypertech, 160 powerstat thermostat, t/a front bumper, functional nostrils, pacesetter headers best et: 15.9 at about 4800ft

Re: z-28 rear end in a v6
Well a buddie of mine bought an eBaY rearend and the spider gears where chipped. Just remember you get what you pay for. If you where building a grocery getter then used parts are just fine. If your building a performance machine then you should really buy new especially drivetrain components. If u cant afford new parts then you should lay off the drugs or stop having babies. I make $350 a week and i can afford new parts.
