    Re: thoughts on Shift Kit

I LOVE mine. I had the Transgo stage 3 with raptor servo's put in, shifts so hard the cd player skips. under 1/2 throttle the tires chirp 1-2 every time. I personally love it. If ur not hell bent on showing off or being extreme, stage 2 is a nice upgrade. Shifts kits typically evtend the life of the tranny because of less strain during the shifting process. The car with hold any gear, and until i take my foot off the gas, it won't shift, so u can control the shift with the gas pedal in a way.

I can do a lot of work, but this one i left up tp the pro's. i paid $220 for the install from a reputable shop. If ur new to the game, i woulnd't reccomend trying out ur skills with the transmission, regardless of whether or not they provide a video and instructions. Others on here may say go ahead and install it yourself, but it can be a difficult job so be careful building up to much confidence. In my opinion its too risky of a job, and will cost far more money to trouble shoot and fix if you mess it up. Its a job i'd leave to the pro's.

But like i said, i love mine. Also if possible get ur computer tuned for it along with other mods as well. Its all a matter or preference. But my best advice is you know urself, don't caught up in what others say, get what YOU want.

        Re: thoughts on Shift Kit

I bought and installed the Trans-go kit and I'm very happy with it. I've
had it for a year and have had zero problems.
