not much as long as you dont go on the highway too much. and not reving it to high rpm's -

I've got a 97 3.8 (not sure if there's any difference). I'm not sure what gears I have right now, but if I went to 3.73's would it change much? I drive about 20 miles on the interstate, daily. And, I love to get it into the high RPMs.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

it will change a lil bit but nothin like the 4.11's but if you dont mind spending a lil extra money on gas every week then go for it.. all in all thats arguably the best gear to get, as well as a 3.42 which is more of a highway dailly driver gear but also a improvement of .2 to .3 in the 1/4 mile over stock with the 3.42 gears, a 3.73 will give you alot better down low but up top you will be butchered none the least as i should sayComment
