the aluminum one piece driveshaft is a popular mod and everyone who does it seems to really enjoy the gains that come with it. I think the older 4th gen z28s came with a one piece steel and later they made it aluminum. The z28 driveshaft should work though if it's from the correct year.

im sure you can replace the joint in the middle, but it would be pretty useless, the 2pc DS's suck.

An Aluminum driveshaft used will be around 125, thats the most common price, however if you simply want to change out to a used 1 piece steel you can pick one up pretty cheap. I bought mine for 50 shipped to the door. Don't bother rebuilding that 2 piece. Thats my opinion and I am sticking to it. haha

Why does everyone always want to put someones used crap on there car? If you cant afford to put new performance mods on your car then you should sell it and buy a Honda and start ripping off door pannels and seats to make it go faster.

I bought my aluminum SS driveshaft for 100 shipped.

Why buy used? Because brand new ones cost like 500$, moron.
