I got all my tranny bolts hooked up through to the engine.
I'm just missing one bolt.
It obviously wont go inside probably because of misalignment of the tranny/engine.
Its the passenger bolt, second one from the very top 2.
Any ideas?

the alignment pin/ dowel is on the drivers side.
I just think my engine and tranny are lop-sided
Guess I'm just lazy, but its hard to install a tranny/engine in a camaro.
I had to take off the bumper, the foam bumper support crap, the metal protective bumper thingy and had to cut a hole in my windshield cowl overhang. I dont have a load leveler, pulleys, just me myself and I and some rope.

what would happen if I was just missing 1 tranny -> bellhousing bolt?
all of them are in except this 1 bolt wont go in.
my car only makes like 35 more rwhp than stock.

i dont know if this is true on the automatics but on the manuals the top 2 bolts have to go through a metal tab the holds the top wiring harness in place. the first time i put mine back together i had the same issue and just left the bolt out and it was fine just make sure all the other one are really tight. the second time i took out the trans i realized the problem was that the hole was out of alignment with the hole in the tab so when the bolt went through the bellhousing it would just hit the tab and not go through to the engine. check it out. if thats not the case you should be fine without one bolt. until you start doing other stuff you'll be fine torque wise with it.
