you can buy polyuerathane trans mounts.. i think they are more durable.. stiffer.

the polyuerathane mounts are stronger and keep things from moving around as much. they are very strong yet still offer some flexibility. i have an energy suspension one on my car. check ftpp.net they have them on there fairly cheap. you will have to modify the crossmember slightly and add some washers to get the correct height because the polyuerthane one is about 1/2" shorter than stock.'99 Camaro Y87 M5 T-tops
