  • speedometer recalibration

    so i just got my car back not too long ago from the shop they were putting in my headders and 3.73s in and it has thrown my speedometer off by about 7mph this is on a 99 pontiac firebird. ive asked all the dealers and the best they could do was 323 or 342 at the best and cant recalibrate my computer to 373s .. just wondering if any one knows where to get something to recalibrate that

    texas speed tune should do it for ya

      tsp or the $159 slp performance parts re-calibrator and it can calibrate to any gear size chance and fully adjustable

        plus you dont have to send you pcm to tsp you can do it at home once the parts comes in

          That's a lot of cash for a 7mph, I would just live with it until you have more reasons to buy HP Tuners for yourself. If you had an '02 I could do it in like 30 seconds... Don't pay somebody that much money to do it, its not worth it. Plus you can get out of one speeding ticket with it being off! Sounds golden to me!
