Hi everyone. I have a good deal on a 2-series carrier from a 98 trans am, and I was wondering if this carrier (7 1/2 - 7 5/8, 10 bolt, 28 spline) would work in my 99 v6 camaro with 3.08 gears. Thanks.

Re: Rear Differentials
O sorry for the confusion guys, I am wondering if there is a 2-series posi, or if only 3-series carriers are posi. I have an open differential with 3.08s, or at least I assume mine is open because when I do a burnout, only the right rear spins. Sorry for the mix up

I would AT LEAST step up to 3.42s!!!

Re: Rear Differentials
Yes you can simply swap your existing open carrier for that 2-series LSD from the T/A. All V8's came with limited slip as standard, whether they had 2-series or 3-series gears.1994 Firebird 3.4<br />15.65 @ 86.8<br /><a href=\"http://www.funkz.net/firebird.htm\" target=\"_blank\">funkz.net/firebird</a><br /><a href=\"http://mywebpages.comcast.net/funkz/timeslips.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Timeslips</a>
